IT Support, Tasks Undertaken By The Systems Section

 

The Systems Team is responsible for the operation, support and development of all financial systems operated by the Finance Directorate. This includes our integrated accounting and financial management information system, (Agresso), ESR (Electronic Staff Record) payroll system and the Directorate's fileservers. The Team also support a number of specialist databases that have been developed in-house for pay budgeting and Service Level Agreement monitoring. The Directorate makes extensive use of MS Office and this is also fully supported by the Systems Team. The Team work very closely with the Directorate's accountants in order to help provide technical solutions to a number of the financial issues that face the Trust, and also to ensure the best return on the investment that we have made in the technology that we use. We are constantly looking for computer science and information technology graduates to help us achieve this.
