General Information About St George's Healthcare NHS Trust

 

St George's Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest Acute Teaching Hospital Trust’s in the country with capital assets in excess of £240 million, a revenue turnover of £380 million and over 5,500 staff Trust-wide. The Trust currently operates from its’ main site situated in Tooting South London, we also run services from the Bolingbroke Hospital, Battersea and the Wolfson Rehabilitation Centre, Wimbledon.

The Trust is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country and in addition to providing general acute medical services to its local population it also provides a range of specialist tertiary services to not only the population of South West London, but also to the populations of Surrey and Sussex as well as providing specialist care to individual patients when required from all corners of the UK.

The Chairman of the Trust is Naaz Coker and the Chief Executive David Astley. A Trust Board that is comprised of five further non-executive directors, 3 medical directors and five executive directors supports them.
