The Work Of The Management Accounts Section

 

The Management Accounts section consists of a number of teams of staff dedicated to providing financial advice and budgetary control information to the Trust's management and budget holders.  Each team is headed by Finance Managers, providing a range of financial advice and support to the Directorates managers and budget holders on developing services and controlling costs.  

The Finance Manager is a member of the Directorates Operational Management team liaising with other healthcare professionals such as Lead Clinicians and Senior Nurses.

The department uses a number of highly developed financial information systems including integrated accounting systems and costing and patient information systems. We are constantly looking to further develop and improve. We are therefore particularly keen to recruit individuals who are innovative, enthusiastic, hard working and keen to rise to a challenge.
