The St George's Healthcare NHS Trust Finance Directorate runs its own finance
training scheme,
providing the opportunity for bright and enthusiastic individuals to train as
NHS finance professionals (Chartered Institute of Public Finance &
Accountancy minimum entry qualifications required). The Finance Directorate
needs high calibre professionally qualified finance staff and our training
scheme is the primary means by which we recruit to our 18 qualified accountant
posts. We offer the opportunity to work and learn in a dynamic professional
environment and through our system of staff rotation and our policy of internal
promotion, you will be given the opportunity to gain the necessary experience to
progress to senior level. We offer assistance towards your professional training
through day release to attend college and by making a substantial contribution
towards the cost of your learning materials and exam costs.
